At Yves Durif’s side, for almost 30 years, David’s devotion to the creative process of hair has earned him the coveted position of Master Colorist. An Artist with his hands, David transforms New York City’s elite clientele into world renowned Beauties. He is inspired by the juxtaposition of color and texture in all that he sees around him – most particularly in the dazzling colors of the hundreds of Dahlias, he grows each year at his boutique flower farm in New Jersey.
Having left a background in Film, he now utilizes his cinematic precision to the delight of all those who visit him in the Yves Durif Color Lab
